The big races continue to roll in at Ascot, in what should be a super day of racing.

With 9 excellent races on the card, this should be a top day of racing from Ascot and there are plenty of races that will be generating plenty of attention for both punters and online bookmakers. The Sheila Gwynne Classic is the headline act, on what looks to be an excellent Ascot card.

Race 1: Siren Assault

Everyone arriving here at Ascot will be looking to get off to a flyer and the Seacorp Plate in the opener looks to have one of the strongest offerings for punters.

Siren Assault was impressive last week, finishing just in behind the prodigious talent of Bustling in the Karrakatta Plate and it looks to be a horse at the very peak of its powers over 1100m.

Rainline has the capability to be a horse that could seriously challenge here but Siren Assault is a classy operator, who could well come out on top in this one and is the hot favourite to do so with many Australian horse racing betting sites

Tip: Siren Assault to win the race @ $2.25 (GetSetBet)

Race 3: Barney’s World

Luke Fernie always looks to have his yard in order at this point in the campaign and in Barney’s World, he looks to have a horse that can kick on over the next few weeks and months.

Having just been edged out last time out over course and distance, Barney’s World has what it takes to navigate around this Ascot track and should be better for that experience.

The likes of Brave Strike may pose a threat but if Barney’s World gets a run here, he looks as if he will be very difficult to stop, an opinion shared by many punters and Aussie bookmakers

Tip: Barney’s World to win the race @ $1.90 (TopSport)

Race 6: Laced Up Heels

Having been backed by us to do the business last week at Ascot, only to be pipped on the line, there is a feeling that Laced Up Heels may be finally ready to win here.

Magnificent Andy just held his nerve to see off the challenge from Laced Up Heels last weekend, but this is a much lighter run-in terms of competition for Laced up Heels.

Transitioning to 1400m will be a slightly taller order but Laced Up Heels will certainly enjoy the going at Ascot and his hard to go against in the Sheila Gwynne Stakes.

Tip: Laced Up Heels to win the race @ $2.35 (Bet365)
