Ascot hosts a super day of racing on Saturday 24th February 2024.

Western Australian racing has been producing some superb contests in recent times and once again this Saturday, Ascot steps up to the plate, with a stellar 9-race card.
All of the biggest online bookmakers are primed and ready here and there are plenty of contests for punters to get on board with.

Race 1: Filthy Habits

With some superb horses in the mix from the outset here at Ascot, the opening race of the day could be a frenetic contest, but Filthy Habits looks to be a justified market leader.

Whilst race wins have been harder to come by of late, Filthy Habits is a horse well known to all punters and Aussie bookmakers and a close second place over course and distance last month only adds to its claims.

Kinellins Legacy is an excellent horse that may well trouble, but Filthy Habits is running well, and it should have enough to get the job done in the opener here.

Tip: Filthy Habits to win the race @ $3.00 (TopSport)

Race 5: Live To Tell

The Greycroft Trophy looks to be very interesting race at Ascot, with a real blend of horses in the mix and Live To Tell is the young pretender ready to take the throne.

With Paul Carbery on board, there is a stamp of quality there and Live To Tell has been hugely impressive in all 4 career starts.

This will be a step up in terms of the quality of the opposition but Live To Tell is a very good horse, who should have too much in reserve for the rest of the field in this one.

Tip: Live To Tell to win the race @ $1.80 (GetSetBet)

Race 7: Bonjoy

Another quality race on the card is very much in prospect here in race 7, with plenty of big names looking to pick up some important prize money in the Amelia Park Stakes.

Topping the betting is Bonjoy, a horse that has won its last two career starts and is really starting to make a name for itself.

It won’t have things all its own way, as the likes of Birdieagle have the capability to challenge but this should be a good opportunity for Bonjoy to pick up another important race win.

Tip: Bonjoy to win the race @ $2.40 (Bet365)
