PendleburyBet is an online, Australian-based bookie, founded by Jeff Pendlebury, a seasoned rails bookmaker. Unfortunately, however, right off the bat, a knock against the Pendlebury Bet's overall offering is the fact they do not offer any sports on their platform.
And so, with that in mind, PendleburyBet have a strong focus on horse racing, where we can see their racing offering which includes odds for major Australian and some international meets, although the international selection is not as extensive as on some other betting sites out there.
In terms of the odds offered by Pendlebury Bet, I have found that they are fairly decent! While they are by no means at an industry-leading level, I would say that this is to be expected from a small bookmaker, as they cannot compete with the big players in the industry.
Moving on, when it comes to placing a bet with Pendlebury Bet, users will only be able to do this via the Pendlebury Bet website as there is currently no mobile app available. In terms of the PendleburyBet website, however, I have found it to be fairly simple in both its appearance and functionality, and as well as this, I have found it tends to load quite quickly. And while I have experienced occasional malfunctions, such as races not appearing on the site, it is nonetheless a simple, yet effective bookmaker site which covers the basics pretty well!
Further, when looking at the banking side of things, I have found that Pendlebury Bet has the basics covered, however, beyond this, there is not much on offer! Pendlebury Bet feature a Credit/Debit card option, POLi and a Bank Transfer option when it comes to depositing funds, and only Credit/Debit card and Bank Transfer options for withdrawals. And despite these options being limited, I do not think I will be an issue for most people given how widely used these banking options are!
Lastly, in terms of customer service, I have found that Pendlebury Bet has quite a simple offering here, and there is certainly room for improvement in this space! PendleburyBet features an online support form, which users can utilise to make a support request, and as well as this, users can get in direct contact with Pendlebury Bet via the support email on their website. I personally feel as though the addition of a Live Chat function, or phone support line, could really improve the offering in this space, however, I would say it is by no means a dealbreaker without them!
All in all, while it is clear that Pendlebury Bet doesn’t have the resources necessary to compete with some of the bigger players in the game, I nonetheless feel as though they have a decent racing offering, and I think racing enthusiasts out there would be fairly satisfied with this bookie!
